The Emotion Code

The Emotion Code How to Release Your Trapped Emotions for Abundant Health, Love, and Happiness

If you’ve never heard of the Emotion Code, let me tell you all about it. First, it’s a book that focuses on how to release your trapped emotions. But what does that mean exactly?

Dr. Bradley Nelso goes into detail about how our emotions are energy in motion. These emotions can become trapped in our bodies, causing us health issues, keeping us from being happy or feeling love, and can help heal emotional and physical distress.

You may have had an experience as a child or an adult where you experience anger, sadness, resentment, low self-esteem, rejection, humiliation, shame, or any other emotion. Perhaps you’ve held on to that Emotion for years and years, never really releasing it from your soul.

That is a trapped emotion.

Ideally, when you experience these emotions, you should acknowledge that feeling of anger, sadness, etc., and allow it to pass through you. In doing so, you allow this energy to pass through you without holding on to it and storing it in the form of resentment, anger, shame, or other feelings. And in turn, allowing that feeling or Emotion to take hold of you thus, carrying it with you for some time. This is also mentioned in The Untethered Soul, The Journey Beyond Yourself.

Three things happen when we experience an emotion. First, our body generates the emotional vibration. Second, we begin to feel the emotion and any thoughts or physical sensation that come along with it. Third, we choose to let the emotion go and we move on, after a few seconds to several minutes. The last step is called processing and once it is completed, we have successfully moved on from the emotional experience and it shouldn’t cause us any problems.

However, if either the second or third step is interrupted, the emotional experience is incomplete, and the energy of the emotion is likely to become trapped in the body.

These trapped emotions that we all have can cause us physical and emotional distress. You may feel emotionally weighed down; you don’t feel as deeply as you should or are numb to certain feelings—for instance, love.

You may feel emotional heaviness around your heart center or other chakra centers. This may be a trapped emotion that needs to be addressed.

In this book, you’ll learn how certain emotions present themselves in your body.

For instance, abandonment, betrayal, heartache, and insecurity can be trapped in your heart or small intestine. Anger, bitterness, depression, and frustration can be trapped in your liver or gallbladder. You may experience physical ailments at these body sites, which could be a calling out from your spirit to release the trapped Emotion.

Of course, it goes without saying that you may have other underlying causes of such discomfort or pain. But isn’t it worth trying to see if it is also related to a trapped emotion?

How to Release Your Trapped Emotions

In the book, you’ll read several stories about people who used the Emotion Code on themselves and others to find relief from anger, stress, and even one story about fear of flying.

It is also possible to have inherited trapped emotions from your family and ancestors passed down for generations. You may be carrying someone else’s trapped Emotion and not even know it. They probably didn’t know it either, so it is no one’s fault.

You’ll learn how to release your trapped emotions by using muscle testing. The book goes over several different muscle testing techniques and explains how to use a pendulum. Once you try out different styles, you’ll figure out which one is best for you. I use the hand solo method but have also used the sway test in the past. It’s easy, and the answers are clear.

Next, you’ll ask different questions to determine if you have a trapped emotion. Then you’ll go through the sequence mentioned in the book and pinpoint which Emotion is trapped. Lastly, you’ll release the Emotion by swiping either your hand or using a magnet from your head to your neck.

Did you say to use a magnet?

Yes, you’ll use a magnet. If you’re familiar with the acupuncture meridians, this is the same principle. You’ll be using the Governing Meridian to release the trapped Emotion. I also see it as a form of magnetic healing. You can use any magnet you have around, even a fridge magnet. Or you can use your hand without a magnet. It’ll work either way.

The release of your trapped emotions is going to take some time. You won’t clear everything in one sitting. It may take several sittings or sessions to release heart-wall trapped emotions, which are walls you’ve built up over time to protect yourself. You more than likely have more than one and will need to work through each of them one at a time.

You will feel the difference.

You may be wondering if you do this will you feel any different? The answer is yes. I also think it depends on how in tune you are with your body and emotions to notice things right away.

For instance, I could feel an emotion leaving while I was using the magnet. It was a strange pull of something leaving my body. Now, will you feel this? I don’t know. If you’re an Empath, then you may. I think it depends again on how in tune you are, to begin with. However, even if you don’t experience the actual feeling leaving your body, you will feel a short time after or even the next day that you are lighter.

Both emotionally and physically. As though a weight has lifted off of you that you didn’t even know you were carrying. You’ll feel a little better each time you release a trapped emotion or after each session.

I had noticed that I was feeling weighed down over my heart and couldn’t figure out why. Sure, I thought it was blocked chakra, but how to unblock that took me longer to do than the Emotion Code. After one session and about five trapped emotions later, I began to feel better.

Several more sessions later, working through my heart walls and inherited trapped emotions, I feel a lighter, more calm heart center. It has opened my whole being to a more relaxed and peaceful state.

My thoughts on the Emotion Code

If you’ve been trying to work through certain feelings and haven’t had any success, I would give this a try. Because I, too, was trying to work through certain emotions and read so many books on how to work through them, it didn’t help at the level I needed. In addition to journaling, this practice will help you work through your trapped feelings.

I think you have to be open and ready to receive the benefits of the Emotion Code to get all you can get out of it if you are skeptical; what better way to find out if it works than by trying it for yourself?

I tried it, and it has been amazing to feel the difference. I hope you have a positive experience too.

I wish you peace and guidance on your journey. Take care and be well.
